About Me
My name is Wan Ibrahim. I come from the sunny country of Malaysia. I am happily married to Yus and we have four lovely children – Bazilah, Bazli, Arina and Diana.
I’m an ordinary guy practising to live an extraordinary life. I was trained as civil engineer in Scotland, UK and have been practicing engineering for more than 20 years. Currently I’m leading a team which was given the responsibility to lead a change journey in one department of the company I work with.
I used to have issues about my job, my employer, my family, fellow countryman, the government and the world. Conversations with colleagues and friends always full of complaints about the management, the government and other people. These take a lot of energy out of me, thus making me loosing vitality and focus on what I want in my life.
Now I could see that the issues that I have came from my interpretation of what happened, base on the past and the context that I have set. Detaching the interpretation with what actually happened; make me see the world as it is and giving me the access to a happy life…
DETACHED is a blog dedicated to conversations about what is possible as human being after detaching the meaning, interpretation or perception of what happened or the past that we believe what makes us who we are now.
